De berühmte Steinbrücke vor der Cullins - Ridge

Sligachan ist ein Ort auf nsel Skye, der sich an der Mündung des Flusses Sligachan befindet und zwischen den Cuillin-Bergen im Süden und den Red Hills im Osten liegt. Der Name „Slagachan“ stammt wahrscheinlich vom Gälischen und bedeutet „kleiner Strom“ oder „kleiner Wasserfall“, was auf den Fluss und die dortige Landschaft hinweist. Der Ort ist besonders bekannt für seine atemberaubende, dramatische Kulisse, die sich durch eine Kombination aus Gebirgen, wilden Landschaften und Gewässern auszeichnet.
