In Oravi, you will find the largest canoeing centre on Lake Saimaa, transport services to Linnansaari National Park, guided nature safaris, restaurant services, lakeside villas and a hotel. Oravi also offers a wide range of guided outdoor activities, including seal safaris, fishing experiences and snowshoeing trips. Equipment rental services are also available in Oravi.
In the village you can find a restaurant Ruukinranta that has a large terrace with the view over the Oravi Canal. Here you can try traditional Finnish cuisine. Also, there is an Oravi Village Shop where you can buy locally produced groceries and other basic goods. Additionally, there is a marina for visitors arriving by boat with petrol pump.
