The Nature Hotel Rainer situated in Jaufental Valley offers an outstanding individual quality: a tailor-made nature experience.

The Jaufental Valley in the village of Ratschings near the city of Sterzing has everything a mountain valley can offer: untouched forests, picture-perfect alpine landscapes and majestic mountain peaks. Numerous hiking trails and mountain trips lead through this varied alpine scenery. The Nature Hotel Rainer is an all-in-one accommodation: a perfect place to relax and enjoy culinary delights. A certain modern charm runs through all of the luxurious rooms and suites.

The natural design hotel offers comfortable deluxe rooms for couples, friends or families, dreamlike suites, luxury rooms made of local pinewood as well as cuddle rooms for romantic hours. The newly renovated rooms and suites with their spectacular panoramic views and their fresh, modern style guarantee special moments. Nature wood floors, spacious bathrooms and living areas as well as the luxurious furnishings including an open shower made of silver quartzite natural stone, a bathtub and a panoramic sun terrace leave nothing to be desired. Moreover, the beautiful suites - furnished with light wood and high-quality South Tyrolean natural materials- offer a unique time out in the idyllic Jaufental Valley. Close to nature. Relaxing rooms made of local pinewood in combination with pine beds and pine pillows guarantee sweet dreams. The new cuddle suite with its pendulous net lounge and an open-hearth fireplace is a cozy chill-out paradise for relaxing moments.

Hannes, the junior owner and chef of the hotel, transforms natural products from his own farm and from local farmers into traditional but also international culinary delights for his guests. Satisfied and happy guests are the most important motivation for Hannes and his team: extraordinary flavors and spices refined with great attention to detail, love and passion for cooking can be tasted in every single dish. The hotel’s cuisine is a mix of South Tyrolean and Italian food culture with a touch of innovation. With plenty of creativity and phantasy he spoils his guest’s palate.

The newly designed wellness area “Naturea Spa & Beauty” is equipped with a modern indoor pool, a whirlpool and a small but welcoming sauna area. This part of the hotel was also furnished with attention to the naturalness of the materials. Quartzite, a natural stone, creates a warm, bright and welcoming atmosphere. The ambience at the pool is very pleasant and cozy thanks to numerous sun loungers and relaxation areas.

The sauna area captivates with its dark and archaic atmosphere, which conveys peace and relaxation. A real highlight for all sauna lovers is the unique forest sauna with daily sauna infusions, surrounded by the South Tyrolean mountains. The philosophy of the hotel can be found in the spa & beauty area too. Close to nature. Mainly new and traditional alpine forms of treatment with natural products from our beautiful alpine region are offered, using only natural products from South Tyrol - without chemicals and preservatives - to let guests feel this alpine flair on their skin.

Hans Rainer, the senior owner of the hotel, regularly invites the guests to go snowshoeing in the magical winter landscape of the vacation region Wipptal. It’s a truly unforgettable experience to walk through untouched nature, in the middle of snow-covered forests and meadows. In summer, especially the hike to the hotel’s own mountain hut “Ontrattalm” in the Jaufental Valley is recommended. Once a week, all guests are invited to a barbecue in a cozy and familiar atmosphere at the hut. There they can enjoy homemade sausages and meat from local producers, grilled by Hans.
