Genau zwischen Reutlingen und Tübingen liegt das Dorf Mähringen. Und mittendrin, mit Blick auf die Schwäbische Alb samt Roßberg, steht der Landgasthof „Mayer´s Waldhorn“. Chef des Familienunternehmens sind der gelernte Metzgermeister und Koch Gerhard Mayer und seine Gattin, die Hotelfachfrau Isabel. Die Küche bietet kulinarische Köstlichkeiten der schwäbischen Küche. Im Herbst gibt es zum Beispiel einheimischen Gänsebraten. Das Hotel verfügt über 18 komfortable Zimmer.
