The country hotel Wasgau has been in our ownership since January 2024 and has since been operated under the name Landhotel Neding.

The name Neding is derived from the sandstone formation located behind the building, the Neding Rock.

The hotel primarily caters to families, hikers, and mountain bikers. Our goal is to provide our guests with an affordable way to enjoy a relaxing time.

We are currently renovating our rooms step by step, and lastly, the corridors and the exterior facade including the windows will also be renovated.

Price

We offer double rooms, 3 and 4-bed rooms as well as flats with kitchenette for 1-4 persons.

All rooms are equipped with shower/WC.

Dogs are welcome. We charge 5 € per day and animal.

Travelling by car:

Coming from the B10 from Landau or Pirmasens, take the Hauenstein exit. Continue for approx. 500 metres towards the centre of the village and take the 2nd road on the left (Prälat-Sommer-Straße) after the rocky outcrop. Continue straight ahead. After approx. 800 metres you will find the Landhotel Neding on the left-hand side.

Travelling by train: Coming from Pirmasens or Landau, get off at the Hauenstein Mitte hiking railway station. Walk straight ahead up the road to the end. Then turn left and after approx. 200 metres you will find the Landhotel Neding on the left-hand side.
