Auf der A10 der Tauernautobahn in Richtung Villach/Graz erreicht ihr Altenmarkt-Zauchensee von Salzburg aus in rund 45 Minuten (65 km).

Aus Deutschland kommend über die A8 (München-Salzburg) und den Grenzübergang Walserberg, weiter über die Tauernautobahn A10 in Richtung Villach.

Aus Richtung Osten (Linz/Wien) kommend über die Westbahn A1 in Richtung Salzburg und weiter wie oben beschrieben. Aus Richtung Süden über die Pyhrnautobahn, das Ennstal und die Tauernautobahn A10.
