There are few landscapes that are as impressive as the Dolomites. And hardly anywhere can you get them closer and more spectacular than in Braies. The Lake Braies, nestled between rock giants, is one of the most photographed in South Tyrol - and far beyond. Not far from the Lake Braies lies the three-star Hotel Pragserhof, sunny at 1400 meters above sea level. Directly from the hotel you can see the Croda del Becco, the Valdaura o Herrnstein.
In winter, waiting for a wonderland of snow-covered peaks and alpine meadows, which can be hiked on snowshoes. The snowshoes - as well as carriage - are free at the hotel. And for those who prefer skiing, the spectacular ski resort Val Pusteria is within reach.
WELLNESS & FITNESSThere are a lot of sports which can be practiced in nature - but that's not enough for some. You can therefore continue your sports program at the hotel, as its gym is equipped with steppers and elliptical machines, treadmill and
rowing machine, balance ball, fitness bike. Even without motion you can come to the hotel Pragserhof's spa for some (beneficial) sweating. Here's a Finnish sauna and steam room. Who'd (still) like to get cozier, they can comfortably do it in the hot tub or can relax in the relax room.
