Mont Lac is a small family-owned hotel, with only 8 rooms, just across from the lake in Champex.
It is run by sister and brother, Marie-Christine and Charles, both born and raised in Champex. All rooms are newly renovated and quite nice, with a large terrace with panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Downstairs is a wine bar and lounge with both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as an indoor swimming pool and wellness.
To find the hotel, simply walk into town, and you will see "Mimi’s Lounge" just across the lake on the northeast corner of the lake. This is the Mont Lac hotel.
