The Hotel Kurhaus is a relaxing Old World style hotel about 10 minutes outside the center of Arolla.
Coming from Prafleuri, you’ll likely reach the Kurhaus before you reach the town center and you can just stop there. It’s a large building originally built in 1896, renovated many times, but with a stone-wood decor that captures the grand historic style. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, there is free wifi, and they have a wonderful grassy outdoor terrace that is great for spending a relaxing evening doing absolutely nothing. In fact that’s what we recommend for the evening.
They have a variety of rooms and even some dorms, and two restaurants - the main dinner restaurant on the main level, and a smaller cozy a la carte restaurant downstairs. The meals are good and plentiful.
