The 4-star superior Ernst Leitz Hotel is part of the overall concept of the Leitz Park, which also houses the Leica World and the Ernst Leitz Museum. In the Goethe and optics city of Wetzlar, the first 35mm camera was invented, which later went into mass production and became a legend. Ernst Leitz represents the experience of travel - capture your most beautiful moments in the lobby, during a conference, in the fitness area, at the bar, in the restaurant Oskar's, which is certified Hessen à la carte.
Photography runs like a common thread throughout the hotel. The 129 rooms and suites are designed with clean lines and furnished with oak parquet and cozy box spring beds. What’s special are the four individual suites and studios, the deluxe studio featuring design elements from the legendary camera, a studio inspired by the studio of Italy's oldest remaining coachbuilder "Zagato," as well as the two suites of Rolf Sachs, which reflect his photography studio and laboratory.
