Chur ist die Hauptstadt des ostschweizerischen Kantons Graubünden.

In der autofreien Altstadt führen gewundene Gassen zur dreischiffigen Kathedrale St. Mariä Himmelfahrt aus dem 13. Jahrhundert im Hof des Bischofspalasts. Die Seilbahn auf den Brambrüesch führt auf eine Hochebene mit Wanderwegen, Panoramablick und im Winter Skipisten. Die Alpenbahn Bernina Express überquert von Chur die Alpen nach Italien.
