Natürlich. Pur. Gast sein. Das Berghotel Mettmen steht im Glarnerland, mitten im Freiberg Kärpf – dem ältesten Wildschutzgebiet Europas.

Das Berghotel Mettmen liegt auf 1‘600 m ü.M mitten im Glarnerland. Bei uns fühlen sich Wanderer und Naturliebhaber, Kletterer und Bergsteiger, Fischer, Älpler und Seminarteilnehmer sowie Gäste einer Hochzeitsgesellschaft genauso wohl wie im Winter Eistaucher, Schneeschuhläufer und Skitourenfahrer.

Die Kombination von Natur, Aktivität, Genuss und der Infrastruktur unseres neuen Berghotels sind hier auf der Mettmen-Alp einzigartig. Das Regionale und Lokale ist uns wichtig. So beziehen wir unsere Lebensmittel wenn immer möglich aus der Region und achten auf die Saisonzeiten: Bio-Eier aus Schwanden, Glarner Schabziger, Fleisch von der Metzgerei Menzi in Mitlödi und der Metzgerei Kern in Ennenda und unsere Forellen kommen aus dem benachbarten Mülibach in Engi.

Unser Restaurant ist während unseren Öffnungszeiten täglich offen. Wir servieren von 11.30 - 17.30 Uhr durchgehend warme Küche.
