Alm wellness at a higher level – at the Alm wellness Hotel Pierer – Authentic. Local. Mindful.
In the heart of the Styrian Teichalm at an altitude of 1237 m, you will find the award-winning Alm wellness Hotel Pierer – just 2 hours from Vienna. Surrounded by the gentle alpine landscape of the Almenland Nature Park, this 4-star superior hotel offers the perfect place for relaxation, enjoyment, and active experiences in nature. In summer, lush green meadows and dense forests invite you to stroll and undertake challenging hikes with breathtaking panoramas, while in winter, snowshoe hiking, cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing charm visitors.
The A.L.M. method: Authentic – Local – Mindful

Treatments & alpine rituals:
At the wellness hotel Pierer, treatments become a holistic experience. Individual massages, beauty, and aparative cosmetic treatments with alpine herbal oils and certified natural products ensure sustainable regeneration. An exclusive alpine ritual accompanies each treatment – with freshly squeezed fruit juice, fragrant compresses, and a final alpine herbal tea. An experience that touches body, mind, and soul alike.
Nature kitchen Alminarium – delights from the region:
Regional and seasonal products are combined into exquisite delights. Vegetarians and vegans also find a wide selection. The Alminarium has been awarded 3 Falstaff forks and features a 6.5 m high wine cellar with wines from the hotel’s own winery Pierer. Homemade PIN (Pierer GIN) and schnapps round off the culinary experience.
Movement, mindfulness & alpine experiences:
A diverse yoga and activity program with up to seven daily units, guided hikes, aqua fitness, and strength training ensures a balance between movement and inner peace. The Teichalm also offers opportunities for cycling, climbing, swimming, golfing, and horseback riding. An in-house E-bike rental is available during the summer months.
Gentle winter magic on the Teichalm:
Cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, winter hiking, and horse-drawn sleigh rides combined with a stop at the Latschenhütte (LAHÜ) make the winter vacation a relaxing experience.
Alpine design & suites with character
The rooms and suites combine natural materials such as wood, loden, leather, and stone with modern design. Exclusive garden suites offer dreamlike views of the alpine landscape. Comfort, style, and connection to nature create a unique feel-good atmosphere.
Your retreat on the alpine
The Alm wellness Hotel Pierer is more than a wellness hotel – it is a power place for body, mind, and soul. Here, health, tranquility, vitality, and joy of life become tangible – in summer as in winter, for relaxation or prevention. A holistic stay that leaves a lasting impact.
