Accommodation not far from the start of the High Scardus Trail in the neighbouring village of Staro Selo.

Basic nice typical guesthouse in Vratnica (neighbouring village of Staro Selo). It is the closest accommodation to the start of the High Scardus Trail: this can be reached from the hostel either on foot in about 45 min or by a short shuttle (see also description of stage 01 of the High Scardus Trail).

Directions

From Tetovo, take road R1203 along the Sharr Mountains in a north-easterly direction towards the old border crossing with Kosovo. About 7 km before the border, the village of Vratnica is on the left. At a small red signpost "Hostel Kitka" (second entrance left to Vratnica) turn left into the village. The accommodation is located after about 70 m on the left side.
