Our hostel is the ideal starting point for hiking, mountain biking, climbing or skiing.

The Mountain hostel is a house made of wood and it was built in 1921. It is located in a wonderful place, 7.5 km south of Oberstdorf, at the end of Trettachtal valley. To be precise in Spielmannsau. With its five houses, Spielmannsau is a small and quiet village, surrounded by unspoiled nature. The valley is closed to traffic and only our guests get a special permit to drive on the valley road.
