La Pinellière

In Vimartin-sur-Orthe, in Mayenne, La Pinellière welcomes you for a peaceful stay for up to four people.
Here, there’s no set schedule to follow. Have your coffee in the garden, set off for a walk straight from the house, swim a few lengths in the pool or settle down with a book under a tree. And what if you decide to do absolutely nothing today? That’s perfectly fine too.
We’ve renovated La Pinellière with a simple idea in mind: to create a warm and peaceful place where you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind. During your stay, the house is very much your own.
You’ll have a private garden of 5,000 m² at your disposal, with tall trees, flowers, several terraces and various spots to settle down: in the sun for a coffee, in the shade for lunch, or simply to listen to the birds.
The private indoor swimming pool, measuring 5 × 11 metres (depth 1.50 m), is perfect for a swim, a refreshing dip or simply relaxing. It is usually open from April to October, weather permitting.
Hiking enthusiasts can set off directly from La Pinellière. Several routes are accessible from the house and the GR® 365 passes right by. We also provide suggestions for walks.

Fancy exploring the surrounding area? Sainte-Suzanne, listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, Lake Sillé-le-Guillaume, the landscapes of the Coëvrons, the markets and the little villages are all waiting for you.
But you don’t have to go out exploring. Sometimes, a day spent in the garden at La Pinellière is more than enough.
La Pinellière is a place of rest, nature and tranquillity. To preserve this atmosphere, parties and evening gatherings are not permitted.
On your arrival, we’ll welcome you personally and a little gift will be waiting for you. After that, take your time to explore the grounds at your own pace.
