The vacation home is located on the outskirts of the small, 200-soul village of Werna, which belongs to the town of Ellrich at the foot of the southern Harz Mountains.

Opened in summer 2023, the house offers you pleasant and modern comfort. The open-plan kitchen/dining/living area invites you to enjoy cooking as well as stimulating conversations over a coffee or wine. When it gets cooler outside, you can end the day by the crackling open fire. Or you can warm up in the infrared cabin and find deep and restful sleep in the Swiss stone pine bed with its delicate scent of the forest...pure freshness and purity!

The cycle path to Ellrich/Sülzhayn runs right past the house and you can set off on extensive cycling or hiking tours. For an evening stroll, we recommend the Junkerholzteich, a wonderful, romantic spot not far from the vacation home. Day trips to Wernigerode or Quedlinburg in the Harz Mountains, for example, are rich in history and wonderfully restored half-timbered houses.

Sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth on the cross-country ski trails around Sophienhof and Benneckenstein in winter. In summer, the Rappbode, Wurmberg and Brocken mountains offer unforgettable experiences.
