Our holiday home Lachberg9 is ideal for multi-generational families, groups of friends, and small groups.

Children up to 5 years travel free. Please only indicate the number of travelers aged 6 and over when booking, and note in the comments that a child under 6 years is accompanying.

In a central yet very quiet location (cul-de-sac to the forest), you will find our detached, newly renovated holiday home. Lachberg9 offers plenty of space with 150 sqm of living area for up to 3 families or 8 adults. You can fully enjoy your privacy! Our family-friendly house, with a covered terrace, is available to you along with a fenced, large property (600 sqm) for exclusive use. Direct access from the holiday home to various excellent hiking trails. An ideal starting point for hikes, mountain biking, cycling (German/French cycling path), and excursions. There is something for everyone; the perfect vacation for nature lovers, hikers, bikers, and those seeking peace and relaxation!

Room "Burgblick" is approximately 22 sqm in size and has its own balcony
In the bedroom, there is a double bed 180x200 cm. Separate mattresses, 2 comfort-sized blankets 155x220, including bed linen invite you to cuddle. Additionally, the room is equipped with a large wardrobe, 2 armchairs, and a flat-screen TV. On the balcony, you can enjoy the view of Hochstein and the Altdahn castle group, which is illuminated in the evening, at a table with 2 chairs.
Adjacent to the bedroom is a cuddle cave. A small room with a skylight that is entirely filled with a mattress, 140x180 cm. A sleeping and cuddling zone for 1-2 children.

Family Room "1940"
The family room is approximately 22 sqm, equipped with a double bed 180x200 and a box spring bed 140x200 – just like in 1940, everyone sleeps in one room. Back then, my father slept here with his 8 siblings. Today, the room offers plenty of space for 3-4 people. The old wooden floor from 1940 has been exposed. The room is very bright thanks to 2 windows and 2 skylights. You have a nice view of Burg Altdahn through the skylight.
The double bed also has separate mattresses and comfort-sized blankets, including bed linen. The room is equipped with a built-in wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a flat-screen TV.

Family Area "Schäfer" on the Ground Floor
The Schäfer family area is also approximately 22 sqm and consists of 2 rooms. In the 1st bedroom, there is a wardrobe and a double bed 180x200 cm with separate mattresses and comfort-sized blankets. From this room, you can access another room, equipped with a bed 140x200 cm, chest of drawers, and flat-screen TV.

In the living area, there is enough space for everyone
The large kitchen with dining area invites you to cook, eat, and enjoy together. The comfortable kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, coffee-pad machine, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, and food processor.
In the living room, you can make yourself comfortable on our couch, watch TV together, play, or read.
From the kitchen, you have direct access to our covered terrace with a large table that has space for everyone.

The large garden invites you to play, chill, grill, and relax.
A lockable garage for bicycles – or cars is available.
