Wohnen am Park

Narrow alleyways, pretty half-timbered houses and a fantastic location on the River Lahn make Diez a very special holiday destination.

Our holiday flat ‘Wohnen am Park’ is quietly located in the building next to our restaurant ‘Tacheles’ and right next to the secluded Robert Heck Park. Here you can spend a relaxing and restful holiday in a cosy atmosphere.

The beautiful old town of Diez with the Alter Markt, the Grafenschloss and the Stiftskirche, with its small, fine shops, cosy cafés and restaurants can be reached on foot in two to three minutes.

Once you are here, you should take some time to enjoy the surrounding nature, which can be explored wonderfully on one of the signposted hiking trails or by bike. Both the Lahn cycle path and the Lahn hiking trail lead directly past our hotel, and the Lahn facilities with boat hire for canoes and pedalos are in the immediate vicinity.

As a special highlight, our restaurant ‘Tacheles’ invites you to a cosy get-together - a successful mixture of pub, wine bar and restaurant, where good conversation takes centre stage, flanked by high-quality food and drinks.
Fresh products are used, preferably from local, partly organic production. The honest and clear cuisine also offers a ‘special recommendation’ of the week, in which it responds to current and seasonal occasions and presents small ‘treasures’.

Selected wines, spirits, Stauder Pils and a stimulating atmosphere await guests not only in the cosy restaurant, but also in the romantic guest garden, a feel-good oasis with southern flair.
