Unmittelbar an der Schweizer Grenze und in idyllischer Lage auf dem Schienerberg liegt das Waldheim.

Das Waldheim wurde im Jahr 1911 als Gast- und Kurhaus errichtet. Seit 1933 wechselte seine Nutzung mehrfach vom Mütter- zum Kindererholungsheim und schließlich zum Schullandheim. Seit 2006 werden Ferienappartements vermietet.
