Formerly known as the "Caffarel house," it is a building that certainly dates back to the early 1800s and to the present day has always maintained its appearance and charm intact; today the only thing you will no longer find here are the stables that were decommissioned in the early 1900s. These, of course, were located on the ground floor of the structure.

The building, towards the end of the 1800s, was purchased by the notary Giosuè Vola who, by marrying Josephine Peyrot in 1879, sanctioned the union of two of the most important Waldensian families of the time, the Volle di Saint Jean (of thethen newly formed municipality of Luserna San Giovanni, the territory on which the house stood) and the Peyrot del Forte (now Torre Pellice), direct descendants of Pastor Henri Arnaud, leader of the Glorious Repatriation of the Waldensians who returned to the Valleys from Switzerland in 1689.

The notary and his wife particularly loved this mansion, passing on not only its ownership but also its deep affection to their daughter Linette, who, in turn, left everything to their son, Giorgio Cotta Morandini, undoubtedly the best-known lawyer in the valley, for many years patron of HC Valpellice, the ice hockey team loved almost viscerally by the local population and beyond.

Recently, in the period between 2019 and 2022, the house underwent a deep but careful restoration by the family of the lawyer's daughter. Francesca and Nicolò welcome there, today as in the past, guests eager for rest and tranquility in the heart of the Piedmontese valleys, in what many know as the "Geneva of Italy," home of the Waldensian people and proud symbol of ecumenism.

The two apartments are located on the first and second floors of the building, accommodating up to 9 people in total. Each apartment has its own kitchenette and private bathroom, while access to a communal garden provides an area where you can relax and enjoy the days of good weather.
