The refuge is situated in the middle of the countryside, only five kilometres north of Bad Birnbach in the Rottal, Europe's largest golf and spa landscape. A small, family-run boutique hotel with ten different themed houses, three new single rooms and two suites on 30,000 square metres of private property - an architectural gem which has received many awards. Owner Erwin Rückerl regularly offers cooking courses that reflect his love of Mediterranean cuisine. The cooking school offers antipasti courses, fish and menu courses as well as barbecue courses at the Weber Grill and the ring of fire. Another passion of the host is the BARISTA SCHOOL - with the courses: ""The way to the perfect espresso"" and LATTE ART. The restaurant opens its doors to all the guests on Thursday for spaghettata and on Friday for culinary delights, every week - all year round.
