Enjoy wonderfully carefree holidays on our family-friendly farm in Ailingen on the beautiful Lake Constance! Our Höhlerhof farm is beautifully situated in a secluded location among apple and cherry trees in a landscape conservation area. We, Bernadette and Alfred, have been running the farm for 30 years and are the fourth generation of our family to do so. Alfred is connected to the farm with his “heart and soul.” Bernadette takes care of the vacation guests, the garden, and everything around the house. Farm vacations with plenty of space and 1000 possibilities! Three large vacation apartments with a magnificent view want to be a little home for your family – for relaxing and experiencing life on our organic farm and as a starting point for excursions. Enjoy farm life in a hammock or around the barbecue, or explore the Lake Constance region, which offers so many leisure activities. Whatever you desire! Families with children in particular will find plenty of space to vacation, play, barbecue, or relax here. Each of the three vacation apartments has two floors with a spacious kitchen-living room, master bedroom and children's room, baby cot, and everything you could wish for a carefree stay. TV, WiFi, washing machine, hair dryer, high chair, lots of toys, and many other amenities are included. If you like, we can even fill your refrigerator with local food and bring you fresh bread rolls every morning!

Holidays surrounded by nature and animals: 

It's not just harvest time in July, September, and October that's busy here. For two years now, our bees have been buzzing around their hives above the orchard meadow, providing us with delicious honey, which our friend Petra bottles. Our dog Coco and cats Franz and Wolf are always on the go around the farm, and our goats Heidi, Sissi, and “Kleine Mäh” are always happy to see little visitors!

Travel & enjoy regionally: 

We would be delighted if you tried our regional products and took some home with you! Our Bioland apples and sour cherries are not only enjoyed on their own, but also processed into delicious organic apple juice. You can also try our own juice, apples, honey, organic pasta, ice cream, and other handmade items from the region in our “somewhat different farm shop,” an old construction trailer, and take them home with you as souvenirs after your vacation. 

Sustainable vacations:

We make our living from our Lake Constance fruit farm, which covers 23 hectares around the vacation farm. Since 2021, we have been working according to Bioland standards and focusing on sustainable, organic farming. However, our love of nature and climate-neutral, resource-saving practices have always been our guiding principles. We have been operating a PV system since 2008 and have been heating with renewable wood chips since 2005. With hedges, flower strips, and insect hotels, we are happy to provide a home for our buzzing and crawling friends. Discovermore when you visit us!
