The House of Europe is a sunny alpine apartment in Kandersteg, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. Kandersteg is located at about 1200 m above sea level in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Mountain view and hiking trails right at your doorstep. The cross-country skiing trail runs about 50 meters from the house. About 100 meters to the nearest forest.
Well-equipped 2.5-room apartment on the first floor of a quiet residential building in the sunny Ahori district. Open living and dining area, fully equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, cooktop, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, etc.). One double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Large south-facing balcony with mountain views. The accommodation can accommodate up to four adults plus possibly a baby (max. 5 persons).
Bathroom with bathtub and integrated shower and toilet. Apple TV, please bring your own streaming accounts. Free high-speed Wi-Fi. Central heating available.
Small pets allowed on request, additional costs will be charged on site (CHF 5.00 per day).

You drive through the village of Kandersteg. Both exits coming from Frutigen are possible. On the left side of the street, you will eventually see the village church, and shortly thereafter, you turn left into the field path. Follow this road for about 300 meters, passing the cemetery. Almost at the end of the field path, turn left into Ahoristrasse. Your accommodation is located on the left side (third house).
Your hosts live in the same house. The handover of the keys is done personally.
