Our home village Holzappel stands for family-friendly holidays in close contact with nature. At the foot of the Höchst and in the midst of the fascinating landscape of the Nassau Nature Park, flora and fauna worthy of protection accompany each of your hikes.
Lake Hertha is located in the immediate vicinity of Holzappel. Its attractive location and good water quality make it a popular leisure paradise. Here you can swim, play, fish and hike around the lake without any worries. Directly opposite are a miniature golf course and tennis courts.
In Holzappel, the classicist St. John's Church and the local history museum are particularly worth seeing.
There are nice places to stop for refreshments at Lake Hertha and in Holzappel.
