WINTER

In winter, the region is transformed into a snow-covered winter paradise. The village of Klösterle is ideally located between the Sonnenkopf ski area and the world-famous Arlberg region—perfect for those who want to combine winter sports with an authentic atmosphere. Klösterle is also a popular starting point for winter hikes, ski tours, and cross-country skiing.

Sonnenkopf ski resort

Sonnenkopf is a real natural gem among ski resorts. As one of the few areas in the Alps with exclusively natural snow, it offers ideal conditions until spring. 39 kilometers of varied slopes, modern lifts, deep snow options, and sunny slopes make Sonnenkopf particularly attractive for families, freeriders, and connoisseurs. There is also a toboggan run there. The rustic Kelobar and the cozy mountain restaurant provide a cozy atmosphere and relaxed breaks with a view.

Arlberg ski resort

The Arlberg is one of the most renowned ski resorts in the world—and Klösterle is right in the middle of it. Easily accessible by car or free ski bus, the Arlberg offers over 300 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes and around 200 kilometers of deep snow runs. Here, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy unlimited skiing fun, modern lifts, and an international atmosphere. The Arlberg is the heart of alpine skiing—legendary, snow-sure, and versatile.
