Schierke lies directly at the foot of the Brocken, between 580 and 640 meters NN in the valley of the cold Bode. Beautiful forests with bizarre rocks surround the village and offer the best opportunities for active recreation with hiking and winter sports. The pension is a family business and was built around 1900 in half-timbered style. The hotel offers 18 cozy and stylish rooms in different categories. The guest house offers a sauna area, massages and moxa therapy.
