A very nice cabana complex at the entry to Retezat at the foot of a large chasm with sparkling waters flowing between towering limestone cliffs. Great food and lodging of various types, including apartments, and a very nice atmosphere in the restaurant and in the surrounding nature.

Complexul Turistic Cheile Butii este un stabiliment de suflet asezat la Poarta Sudica de intrare in Parcul National Retezat, rezervatie naturala a biosferei, una dintre cele mai frumoase arii protejate ale Europei. Situata la o altitudine de aproximativ 900m, in apropierea Cheilor Butii si a drumului national 66A (in constructie) care va lega orasul Petrosani de Baile Herculane, locatia noastra este pentru prietenii Retezatului primul popas pe binecunoscutul traseu turistic: Cheile Butii - Cabana Buta - Lacul Bucura - Vf.Peleaga.

Complexul are o capacitate maxima de 110 locuri in cele 3 cladiri dispuse triunghiular - Cabana Cuibul cu Dor, Cabana Poiana Soarelui si Vila Prietenilor. Restaurantul Cheile Butii poate gazdui 250 de oaspeti si dispune de un meniu extrem de bogat si variat care poate satisface mofturile culinare ale celor mai prentiosi musafiri.
