The hut was lovingly furnished by the farmer himself with local Swiss pine wood – the pleasant scent and warm atmosphere ensure a genuine sense of well-being from the very first moment.

Nestled in the impressive high valley “die Asten”, it is located at an altitude of around 1,900 m, occupying the foremost vantage point. Due to its special location, you can enjoy the sun from early morning until late and an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains.

Location:
In the gently rolling part of the Astental, surrounded by blooming alpine meadows.

Access:
11 km from Mörtschach – mostly asphalt road, the last 800 m are gravel.

Amenities:
Cozy kitchen-diner with wood-burning stove, large seating area, daybed, as well as TV and radio.
Two twin rooms and, via stairs, another double room.
Shower, WC, and electric boiler available.
Pantry with refrigerator.

Outside, you’ll find a partially covered sitting terrace, a fenced hut area, a fountain, and sun loungers – perfect for relaxing amidst nature. Beds are already made; please bring your own bath and hand towels.
