Kals am Großglockner lies on the south side of the Hohe Tauern, at the foot of Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner.
The Spöttlinghof is located at the head of the valley at 1500 m above sea level, directly at the entrance to the alpine valleys of the Hohe Tauern National Park.

 As a national park partner business, we offer guided hikes with national park rangers all year round.

 The Großglockner, surrounded by numerous 3000m peaks, offers many high tours, optionally with Kalser mountain guides. The 250 km network of walking and hiking trails offers nature experiences of a special kind.

There are many cycling and mountain biking routes, as well as some downhill routes in the region.
Many of these offers can be reached directly from the hotel.

In winter, the GG Resort offers the best opportunities from beginners to top skiers and can be reached via a ski trail or with the ski bus from the house. Furthermore, in winter you can start countless ski tours in the region from the house.
