Rifugio Gorropu is situated on the slopes of Supramonte, just a few kilometres from the beautiful villages of Dorgali and Cala Gonone.
Surrounded by the Sardinian macchia - lush shrubs with cypresses, olive trees, wild fennel and cork oaks - the interior of this holiday farm has only recently been renovated. Great care has being taken to preserve the original rustic flair.

For example, take a mountain bike tour to explore the "tombe dei giganti", the "giant tombs" or the nuraghic cult sites, take a boat trip to the beaches of the Gulf of Orosei, such as the bay of Cala Luna, Cala Sisine or the Piscine di Venere ("Venus pools") - or visit the Grotta del Fico, a dripstone cave, and the Grotto del Bue Marino.
For those who prefer trekking, there are also plenty of opportunities, such as the "Il Selvaggio Blu" tour, considered one of the most beautiful and difficult trekking routes in Italy.
