- From Vienna: A1 Westautobahn heading towards Salzburg – Voralpenkreuz junction – A9 to the Hinterstoder/St. Pankraz exit – continue to Hinterstoder
- From Munich: A8 via Salzburg – A1 Westautobahn heading towards Linz – Voralpenkreuz junction – A9 to the Hinterstoder/St. Pankraz exit – continue to Hinterstoder
- From Berlin: A9 heading towards Bayreuth/Nuremberg – A3 heading towards Regensburg – Passau – A8 to the Voralpenkreuz junction – A9 to the Inzersdorf exit – Kirchdorf/Krems – continue to Hinterstoder
