Our house, which has been designated with 4 suns by the state association "Holiday on the Farm" (the highest rating), and has received honors from the Association of Private Room Rentals in lower Austria, lies on the outskirts of Mitterbach in a small settlement along the Stausee. (Entrance: nature park Oetscher Tormaeuer).
The cozy double room and both suites are tastefully and comfortably furnished. Each includes a private, covered balcony. The large breakfast and lounge area is located on the sunny side of the building and features an open fireplace along with a large patio area for relaxing.

We will provide you with a good start to the day – I serve breakfast from 7:00 until 11:30 a.m. (or at other times as requested). Breakfast is served in the breakfast room, on the patio or even in your room.   Our bread basket is filled with fresh Semmeln (crusty rolls), whole-grain bread and croissants.   Homemade jams and spreads, local honey, soft-boiled eggs (or other types upon request - from free-range chickens, of course!), turkey sausage, ham, cheese, seasonal fruit and vegetables, toast, muesli and yogurt are all offered daily.  
Energized with local, healthy food, a breathtakingly beautiful hiking and bicycling area is just waiting for you to explore it. Make exciting discoveries during a hike to the Erlaufsee ending in a boat ride with a dip in the cool lake; explore the Oetschergraeben (the "Grand Canyon of Austria") ; hike up the Gemeindealpe or follow the pilgrim trail "via Sacra" to Mariazell - it passes directly in front of our house. Since we are members of the Wilden Wunder Card group, you will be able to visit many attractions for free or at greatly reduced prices. If there is a restaurant you would like to visit for dinner, I will be happy to make reservations for you accordingly. 
We will gladly provide transportation from or to a designated meeting point, whether you will be leaving your vehicle at our home for the day, or traveling by MariazellerBahn (train) or bus to our location.
