Oberwinklgut

The Oberwinklgut is situated in a sunny and quiet location on the Buchberg at an altitude of 760 m above sea level – above the village of Bischofshofen, amidst the beautiful Salzburger Land. Surrounded by the impressive mountain scenery between Hochkönig and Tennengebirge, you can enjoy an idyllic farm atmosphere here with a magnificent view of nature.

At the farm, lovingly furnished apartments await you, as well as a large natural swimming pond with a sunbathing lawn and an outdoor pool – perfect for relaxing and cooling off. Our barbecue hut ensures cozy evenings and can be used in any weather.

Children can let off steam on the playground with a slide, swing, and plenty of space to run around. For our little guests, there's something new to discover every day at the farm – from curious cats to fluffy sheep.

The farm is run with great passion and an innovative spirit. Sustainability plays a major role for us: heating is done with wood chips, and a large part of our electricity comes from the farm's own photovoltaic system.

Summer:

In summer, you can start hikes into the Salzburg mountains directly from the farm. Whether family-friendly walks or more demanding summit tours – you'll find many opportunities around Bischofshofen. Cyclists and e-bikers will also get their money's worth on the surrounding routes, such as along the Tauern Cycle Path. Excursions to the Eisriesenwelt Werfen, the Liechtensteinklamm gorge, or the medieval Hohenwerfen Castle with its birds of prey show provide variety. If you prefer peace and quiet, enjoy a day of swimming at the lake or visit the Therme Amadé.

Winter:

In winter, you benefit from the central location in the heart of Ski amadé – with 760 km of slopes and 270 lifts. Popular ski areas such as Mühlbach, St. Johann, Flachau, or Altenmarkt are quickly accessible. It doesn't get boring off the slopes either: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing, or romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides make your winter holiday varied. Families with children will enjoy building snowmen or visiting the ice rink in Bischofshofen. During Advent, the Salzburger Bergadvent attracts visitors with its traditional atmosphere.
