On hot days, the heated outdoor pool, just a few minutes' walk away, invites you for refreshing bathing fun and relaxation.
As a farm, we offer you fresh cow's milk directly from our farm. In our farm shop, you will also find eggs, cheese, cured meats, homemade jams, and regional specialties. Take a piece of your holiday home with you!

Take the A14 motorway and exit at Dornbirn Nord. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards Bregenzerwald (L200). The L200 leads you through the Achrain tunnel into the Bregenzerwald. You will drive through the municipalities of Alberschwende, Egg, and Andelsbuch. Continue past Reuthe, Bezau, and Mellau to Schoppernau. In Schoppernau, turn right towards Ferienbauernhof Nigsch 50 meters after the Hotel Krone (on the left). A small sign (Ferienbauernhof Nigsch) directly on the road (L200) will show you the way.
Information for arrival by public transport:
- The nearest train station is located in Dornbirn or Bregenz. From there, you can reach the “Gemeindeamt" stop in Schoppernau in approx. 1 ½ hours using the Landbus Bregenzerwald. From the bus stop, you can reach us on foot in one minute.
- There is a bakery on the ground floor of Haus Linde nearby.
- There is a farm shop right at NigschHof.
- The nearest bicycle rental (Sport Fuchs in Au) is located approx. 2.3 km from the accommodation.
- In summer, travel on the Landbus Bregenzerwald is free of charge for holders of a Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal Guest Card (for stays of 3 nights or more).
- In winter, holders of the 3Täler ski pass can commute to the ski area of their choice on the public scheduled buses for skiing.
