The hilly Mühlviertel in Upper Austria is known as a horse paradise. Surrounded by lush green meadows and mystical moors at an altitude of approx. 1,000 m lies our Paint and Quarter Horse Ranch. A unique stud farm with truly exceptional horses - a real paradise for equestrian holidays!

At our Esterhammer Holiday Horse Farm, guests find peace and relaxation - a place to slow down, enjoy nature, laze around, or be active.

At our equestrian farm, you will experience a sustainable lifestyle: ecological building materials, organic farming, wood chip heating and photovoltaics, our own farm produce, and much more.

Explore the Tanner Moor nature reserve - the largest high moor in Europe. With or without a guide, you can cross the species-rich landscape via specially designed wooden boardwalks. In the Rubener Pond, a bog bathing lake, you can enjoy natural skin wraps outdoors. Anglers and swimmers can pursue their hobby at the Frauenwieserteich (fishing license required!).

For children, there is fun at the Jagdmärchenpark or in nearby wildlife and adventure parks. In addition to a speed slide, you will find numerous cultural institutions and smaller exhibitions and museums nearby. In Liebenau, you will find a natural bowling alley, a tennis court, and a modern, small but lovely indoor pool.

Please note: Dogs are not allowed. 

Nearby inns offer traditional cuisine to suit every taste.
