Our farm Esperanzahof is a lively place where nature, animals and humans get together in a very special way. As a centre for animal-assisted pedagogics, the farm creates a unique space for encounters and a decelerated life.
Our three comfortable wagons are nestled in the quiet, undulating hills of the Mostviertel region. They are located in the heart of the outdoor area of Esperanza - our centre for animal-assisted pedagogics, adjacent to the four-sided farmyard and the room where humans and animals get to know each other.
This unique accommodation allows you to wake up to the countryside surrounded by meadows, pastures and 80+ animals that call our farm their home.
Enjoy your break from everyday life as you get to know our animals with mindfulness, take a walk with our donkeys or simply linger a little longer in the peaceful area. The farm Esperanzahof is more than an oasis of relaxation - it’s a place where you can experience worthwhile moments, a sense of community and a deep connection with nature. It’s a place which makes room for positive encounters and a decelerated life.
Here, you’ll wake up between meadows and pasture fences - always close to nature. Take in the pleasant ambience, the sounds, the healthy air of the countryside.
A holiday outdoors is a wonderful way to find relaxation. Sleeping in a wagon on our farm Esperanza-Hof is not only an accommodation but a very special experience.

Motorway A1: coming from the west
- Motorway A1: exit “Ybbs/Wieselburg”
- turn left towards Scheibbs (B25)
- behind Wieselburg, take the first street left, continue in the direction of “Wildpark Hochrieß”
- first junction on the right-hand side, towards “Wildpark Hochrieß”
- follow the road until you get to a T-junction, turn left towards Oberndorf
- after approx. 2 km and a sharp bend towards the left, turn left onto a private road next to the sign “Esperanzahof”
- go uphill, the first farm on the right-hand side is our farm “Esperanzahof”
Motorway A1: coming from the east
- Motorway A1: exit “Loosdorf”, stay to the right, at the roundabout exit towards St. Leonhard
- in St Leonhard, turn left at the main square
- at the first opportunity (after the church), turn right towards Oberndorf
- in Diesendorf, turn right before the first petrol station
- at the first opportunity, turn left towards Oberndorf
- approx. 500 m before Oberndorf, turn right at the sign “Hochrieß 5 km”
- continue for about 2.5 km to Scheibenberg/Zimmerau (small valley), follow the road
- turn right onto the private road at the sign “Esperanza”
- go uphill, the first farm on the right-hand side is our farm “Esperanzahof”
Federal road B25: coming from the south
- continue on the federal road B25 and pass the village centre of Purgstall
- after the petrol station (before the supermarket “Unimarkt”), turn right towards Oberndorf and “Wildpark Hochrieß”
- after having gone uphill behind the village of Unterberg, in a bend to the left, turn right towards Oberndorf
- after approx. 2 km and a sharp bend towards the left, turn left onto a private road next to the sign “Esperanzahof”
- go uphill, the first farm on the right-hand side is our farm “Esperanzahof”
