Welcome to Berghof Burtscher in the Big Walservalley!
The Burtscher mountain farm with its comfortably furnished Vorarlberg holiday flats "Grüneck" and the "Panoramablick" holiday flat is located in the middle of the Bludenz Alpine region, in Ludesch. At 1200 metres above sea level with a magnificent view of the mountain peaks of the Rätikon, the Walser ridge and the Swiss mountains. Ludescherberg lies at the foot of the Hoher Fraßen and is around 16 kilometres from the Alpine town of Bludenz.
Relax on the cosy balcony and let your gaze wander over the entire valley. Hike through meadows and forests on the marvellous panoramic trail, which leads directly past the Berghof Burtscher.
The Bergbauernhof Burtscher is also the ideal starting point for beautiful panoramic walks and mountain bike tours. The Großes Walsertal Biosphere Park is also known for its great hiking opportunities from alp to alp and cosy mountain huts where you can enjoy culinary delights. Alpine and hiking buses take you directly to the various alps in comfort. A special experience for guests from near and far is a visit to the forest adventure trail in the Marul Valley.
You are welcome to use the small pool in the garden. The Seewaldsee is a beautifully situated mountain lake in Fontanella, which you can reach with the Seewaldsee-Bummelzügle, on foot along the mountain road or hiking through the woods and meadows. A unique experience. There is also the Val Blu indoor and outdoor pool in Bludenz as well as several outdoor pools and quarry ponds in Walgau.
In autumn and winter you can buy alpine cheese from Alpe Steris and milk from the cows directly from the farm at Berghof Burtscher.
In winter, the family-friendly Raggal ski area is just a few minutes away by car. Perfectly groomed pistes and three ski lifts invite you to learn to ski, carve or snowboard.
The cows, young cattle and calves are on summer holiday at Alpe Steris and Alpe Oberpartnum from the end of May to the beginning of September. We can only recommend a trip there. Two rabbits and four cats also live on the farm.

Coming from Germany
- Across the border at Lindau, through the Pfänder Tunnel, then continue on the A14 motorway
- Through the Amberg Tunnel near Feldkirch, continue to exit Nenzing/GroßesWalsertal
- At the end of the exit, turn left, then after approx. 300 m turn right at the intersection towards Ludesch (5 km)
- At the intersection in Ludesch turn left towards Raggal (6 km)
- At the intersection in Raggal turn right towards the church (approx. 60 m). Then turn right towards Ludescherberg. You will find the exact location of our farm on the » site map
