Cozy nest for two... right in the middle of the Milky Way

The LEX Badstube is truly located in the „Mölltal Leit`n“ (surrounded by really steep mountain meadows) with a fantastic view of Austria's highest mountains. The small cabin is surrounded by a few working mountain farms. 

This place is ideally suited for extensive hikes and mountain tours in the Hohe Tauern National Park. The Grossglockner, the Sonnblick, or the Asten (a beautiful high alpine valley) can be reached from here in no time. Insider tip: Feeding the marmots along the Grossglockner High Alpine Road is a special experience. In winter, the cabin is located very close to the Heiligenblut ski area. Ski tours and snowshoe hikes also start directly in front of the cabin. 

The Cabin: Our rustic cabin is ideally suited for a vacation for two. The kitchen, living room, and bedroom are all located in one room. The bed is accessible via a small wooden ladder (a "loft bed") and is very cozy. The warmth of the tiled stove is particularly cozy in the evenings. Sanitary facilities are, of course, available. 

Our Highlight: „Star Terrace“ 

In the evening, it gets really cozy on our "Star Terrace". With a glass of wine, you can enjoy the feeling of being right in the middle of the Milky Way. Guaranteed: You have never been this close to the stars! Our tip: During the day, the terrace can easily be repurposed for an extensive sunbath. 

The journey to the Badstube is uncomplicated: you reach the small cabin via an asphalted path after 3.5 km above the village of Großkirchheim. In Großkirchheim there is also the opportunity to shop, go out for dinner, and visit the natural swimming pool or the climbing tower.
