Welcome to Anderlbauer, your idyllic family-run farm nestled in the breathtaking Salzburger Land, within the charming Gastein Valley. Located in the peaceful yet central district of Mühlbach in Dorfgastein, our farm is the perfect mountain retreat. Since 2019, we've poured our heart and soul into transforming our traditional farmhouse and barn into a welcoming guesthouse, offering cozy apartments and spacious double or family rooms that blend rustic charm with modern comfort.

Discover authentic hospitality in our inviting lounge or gather for sociable evenings in our traditional schnapps cellar. For ultimate relaxation, our small but delightful wellness area features a pine sauna with a serene relaxation room – a perfect haven for unwinding, ideal for both individuals and families seeking revitalization.

Experience genuine farm life firsthand! Our family passionately tends to our animals and nature. Just 100 meters from the guesthouse, our modern barn is home to mother cows and their calves (who graze on alpine pastures in summer), sheep and lambs, pigs, chickens, dwarf goats, cats, and adorable rabbits. 

From our very own orchard, we harvest apples, pears, and rowan berries each year, transforming them into delicious homemade products. All these culinary treasures are available in our charming farm shop, crafted with love and care.

Our two buildings – the Anderlbauer guesthouse and the adjacent Haus Kathrin – form a harmonious ensemble, connected by a shared reception and farm shop. Here, you'll find everything for nature, relaxation, and genuine country living, all under one roof, right in the heart of Dorfgastein in the Gastein Valley.

Spend your summer holiday in the Gastein Valley, a true hiking paradise. Our farm is surrounded by countless trails, alpine huts, and scenic peaks waiting to be explored. As a premium partner of the Solar Pool Dorfgastein, you receive free unlimited entry – the perfect way to cool off and relax after an invigorating day in the mountains! 

Unwind on our sunny terrace or in the expansive garden, complete with a sunbathing lawn, barbecue area, table tennis, and a dedicated play corner with tractors, swings, and climbing frames – a true paradise for children. 

❄️ Winter Wonderland

In winter, our location is simply unbeatable: the valley station of the Dorfgastein–Großarl ski area is a mere 200 meters from our farm, offering immediate access to a popular resort with modern lifts, family-friendly slopes, and cozy alpine huts. Cross-country ski trails and picturesque winter hiking paths begin directly at our doorstep, inviting you to explore the snowy landscape.

For additional relaxation, the Alpentherme spa in Bad Hofgastein is just a 10-minute drive away, while the Felsentherme in Bad Gastein can be reached in about 20 minutes. After an active day in the snow you can relax in our fragrant pine sauna.
