The approximately six-hectare site features over 60 campsites with electrical hookups for travel trailers and RVs, as well as a spacious tent area for about 50 tents. Modern restroom facilities, a drive-through disposal station for chemical toilets, common areas with a kitchen, washer, and dryer, a barbecue area, a playground, and free table tennis ensure a high level of comfort. For water sports enthusiasts, there are also boat trailers for transporting canoes and kayaks. The offerings are rounded out by a bungalow available for rent, as well as the neighboring Wostra outdoor pool and beach.
New in 2026: Winter Camping
For the first time, we’ll also be open in winter. From November 25, 2026, through January 6, 2027, campers are welcome at the Wostra Campground even during the cold season. Whether you want to experience the magic of Dresden’s Christmas markets or the Festival of Lights, enjoy the Christmas season with your loved ones, or celebrate the New Year’s Eve festivities—the campground offers the ideal base for these and many other activities

Location
Located southeast of Dresden, Pillnitz Palace and Park are on the opposite bank of the Elbe and are easily accessible via the ferry in KleinschachwitzRooms
A cozy bungalow is available for booking during the camping season and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay in its approximately 25 m² of living space. From the furnished patio, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery. The bedroom features a double bed, and the living area includes a dining table, a sleeper sofa for one additional person, and a TV.The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, 2 hot plates, a microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, and dishes. The bathroom in the bungalow has a toilet and sink; the shower is located in the adjacent restroom building. A parking space directly next to the bungalow is included.
Please note that pets are not allowed. The bungalow is not wheelchair accessible, cannot be heated, and must be left swept clean upon departure.

Surroundings
Located right on the Elbe Cycle Route, the campground is ideal for cyclists and waterway travelers. Dresden’s historic city center is about a 30-minute ride away by public transportation. The famous Pillnitz Palace and Park, Saxon Switzerland, and numerous attractions along the Elbe are also in the immediate vicinity. The Wostra outdoor pool and beach are right next to the campground and offer additional recreational fun during the summer months.General
