Forest Camping Mozirje

Our campsite has a rustic, charming atmosphere, offering a mix of spacious camping pitches and fully equipped accommodation. Among the most beloved features are our unique wooden huts, inspired by the rich history of timber rafting on the Savinja River. Guests can pitch their own tents, park trailers, campers, or vans, rent a fully prepared tent with bedding, or even spend a night under the stars in one of our open-air hammocks. A refreshing dip in the river flowing beside the campsite is almost irresistible — the perfect natural cooldown.

 

We offer a wide variety of sports and outdoor activities suitable for all ages. On-site you can enjoy volleyball, badminton, slacklining, or rent mountain bikes, gravel bikes, road bikes, and e-mountain bikes to explore the surrounding landscapes. For extra convenience, we provide secure bike storage, repair tools, a workshop area, and helpful staff advice. Together with local partners, we also organise adrenaline-packed adventures such as whitewater rafting, canyoning, kayaking, paragliding, and more.

Guests love gathering in our various common areas. Five open-air fire pits offer the perfect setting for grilling or evening socialising, while our fully equipped covered outdoor kitchen is the ideal place for your morning coffee or herbal tea picked from our own garden. And honestly—what’s better than grilling fresh trout while listening to guitar melodies and the soothing sound of the river?

There are two toilet areas conveniently located near the accommodation zone, and guests often rave about our eco-friendly outdoor showers crafted from natural materials. Forest Camping Mozirje also offers fast Wi-Fi, a mini library, a children’s playground, a forest discovery path, and several sports facilities including basketball and small football courts—everything you need to immerse yourself in nature without giving up comfort.
