Der Campingplatz liegt in einem wundervollen Naturgebiet von Thüringen, umschlossen von Wäldern und verfügt über einen Spielplatz wo man unter anderen Fußball, Badminton, oder auch Volleyball spielen kann. Einen Minimarkt und täglich frische Brötchen sind verfügbar. Eine Bistro lädt zum Verweilen ein. Nur 900 m vom Campingplatz befindet sich der Hohenwarte Stausee auch als Thüringer Meer bezeichnet. Eine Blockhütte für 4 Personen ist ebenfalls zu vermieten.
