Szálka, ez a szekszárdi borvidék szomszédságában megbújó, dombokkal, erdőkkel ölelt festői kis falu csendes, nyugodt környezete feltöltődésre és aktív pihenésre is tökéletes helyszín.
Az egész ház csak a miénk, a kert végéből rögtön a természetbe léphetünk, csodálatos kilátással a völgyre, a falura. A távolban látható a Mecsek legmagasabb pontja, a Zengő is. A Szálkai-tó körüli séta kihagyhatatlan élmény, nyáron pedig strandolni is lehet.
A tó mellett fut a Rockenbauer Pál Dél-dunántúli Kéktúra, a szekszárdi borvidék közelsége miatt bortúrákat, pincelátogatásokat lehet tenni. Magyarország egyetlen ártéri erdeje, a Gemenci erdő is a közelben található.
