The Tanner Moor Nature Reserve is 8 km away - ideal for a short hike and a refreshing dip in the Rubener Pond (natural moor swimming lake). Surrounded by nearly untouched nature, you will find pure relaxation there. With the numerous tiny bays and secluded spots, there is an opportunity for every seeker of peace to catch their breath and recharge their energy. The Rubener Pond in Liebenau is also the starting and ending point of many hikes through the Tanner Moor. And what could be better than a refreshing swim in cool water after a hike?

The Frauenwieserteich (about 7 km away) is an idyllic 11 ha swimming pond. A day at the pool with your horse is possible here. While it is well cared for in the large paddock, you only need to take a jump into the cool water.
You can indulge in culinary delights at the bathing buffet. Additionally, the pond is a known paradise for anglers.
