The Little Barn

Converted in 2010 the accommodation provides a comfortable, well equipped home. It is ideal for families, couples or a small group of friends. The main living areas and the large patio focus on the south east aspect, looking away from the owners home, giving a sense of privacy.

There is a brick built BBQ and plenty of outdoor furniture and toys for relaxing or playing outside. 

The wildlife areas encourage a wide range of flowers, birds and animals. Guests have seen buzzards, sparrow hawks, kestrels, barn owls, woodpeckers, nuthatches, red squirrels, bats, foxes and much more.

The secluded location also benefits from a lack of light pollution, making night skies beautifully clear and great for star gazing. There is a Dobsonian telescope for guests to use. 

Whilst feeling remote, the cottage is within easy reach of all the Islands' main attractions allowing you to visit historic castles, manor houses, animal sanctuaries, go fishing, sailing, play golf or visit local produce suppliers and indulge your senses.

The cottage is a No-Smoking property and we are unable to accept pets. During the peak season we only accept 7 night bookings.

Please note:

1. There is no public transport to the cottage, so you will need a car, bicycle or other mode of transport to get about.

2. There are low beams at the property.

3. There are no stair gates for toddlers. You are welcome to bring your own. We do supply a highchair, travel cot and baby bath.

4. We can store bikes on request or they can be hired (please ask for details)

5. Sainsburys, Waitrose & Tescos can all do home deliveries to the property.
