Chalet Ballon d'Alsace
At the crossroads of the summit and Sewen roads, at the foot of the Tête des Redoutes and Mannheimer runs.
Every weekend from January to mid-March, we welcome all those who enjoy mountain sports to come and relax and meet us. Volunteers will be on hand to show you around the "hors sac" room and the kitchen, where you can heat up your meal for a small charge (€2.50). Sleeping facilities are also available (15 euros).
It will be open during the winter school holidays;
Outside the winter period, it is reserved for all kinds of groups: families, associations, hikers and friends of the Ballon d'Alsace (weekdays or weekends).
It has a large room that can accommodate 90 people, sleeps 19, a fully-equipped kitchen and sanitary facilities (WC, washbasins and showers).
Managed by a voluntary association, it is supported by membership fees and user contributions.
