World Heritage Hikes: Underground

NOTE: Registration with the organizer in advance is required.

Equipped with a helmet, protective jacket and boots, you can discover the facilities of the Upper Harz Water Management System and the World Heritage Rammelsberg on guided hikes underground. The many ponds, ditches, tunnels and watercourses have been part of the UNESCO World Heritage in the Harz since 2010. During a guided tour, you will learn how the Upper Harz Water Management System used to be used for mining and how it works.
