The Rügen Wolf Trail combines a sporting challenge with a variety of landscapes. In three days, the route covers 93 kilometers along the coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, starting in Schaprode. From there, it goes via Cape Arkona and the fishing village of Vitt along the striking chalk coast to the famous Königsstuhl in the Jasmund National Park. The route then leads from Sassnitz via Prora to the pier in Binz. Old beech forests, steep cliffs and firm coastal paths characterize the route profile more than deep sand, and with an average of around 30 kilometers per day, this route is physically demanding. The distance requires solid basic stamina and experience with longer daily stages. The event is not suitable for people without hiking experience or without training for consecutive 25-30 km stages. This multi-day hike is organized by Jack Wolfskin in cooperation with ASI Reisen and the partners Ford, Outdooractive, Petzl and Clausthaler Alkohlfrei.
