The extraordinary country of Switzerland will never be done justice using just words, it is one of those places which you have to see for yourself – her beauty is truly unimaginable. Home to awe-inspiring lakes, remote mountain villages and the high peaks of the Alps, this is probably the best country in the world for walking holidays!

The spectacular scenery and typically efficient Swiss transport infrastructure help walkers to reach new heights.
